Frequently Asked Questions

1. Question:  Why the alert (in the Timer mode) sometimes acts at irregular intervals?

Answer:  Maybe your computer was turned off at the actuation time. Open the Timer settings window (by clicking the corresponding Advanced button) and then check the Synchronize Timer with System Clock checkbox. Note that this checkbox is visible only when Repeat is Yes.

2. Question:  I get the error "... try reinstall the Flash plug-in ..." at SNV Timer startup.

Answer:  Download and install SNV Timer version 2.0, or above.

3. Question:  I set the alert to act hourly. How does Timer work if I uncheck the Synchronize Timer with System Clock checkbox?

Answer:  For example: SNV Timer is set to run on Windows startup. You set the alert to act hourly at 1:00 PM. So, the next alert must be at 2:00 PM. If you turn off your computer at 1:10 PM, and turn on it at 1:30 PM, the alert will act at 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, etc. But, if you turn on your computer at 2:10 PM, the alert will act at 3:10 PM, 4:10 PM, 5:10 PM, etc. Note, if you check the Execute Overdue Tasks checkbox in the Timer settings window, the alert will first act on Windows startup (i.e., in this case, at 2:10 PM), and then at 3:10 PM, 4:10 PM, 5:10 PM, etc.

4. Question:  What is the difference between the unregistered and registered versions of SNV Timer?

Answer:  The unregistered version is fully functional. Its differences are trial period and reminder window only.

5. Question:  Does SNV Timer contain "spyware"?

Answer:  Absolutely not. SNV Timer does not install any spyware on your computer and does not send anyone any information about your system.
